The Beyond Schools Trust is a multi-academy Trust based in Medway, which presently consists of three secondary schools, one primary and one junior school. We are a growing, multi-academy Trust within the educational sector with approximately 500 employees across the five sites.

 

To support the delivery of the new Strategic Plan, we are now recruiting for a Head of People. This is a newly created post following a HR review and is a real opportunity to join and build the HR function in a rapidly developing Trust.  This gives the right candidate the chance to set and deliver strategy and develop themselves to a more senior level.


We are looking for a highly motivated individual that has broad knowledge of, and experience in, all aspects of Human Resources activities and disciplines in more than just educational experience. Previous experience of working at a Senior HRPB or Head of People role would be desirable, along with the experience leading and developing operational HR and implementing HR strategy.

 

It is essential that the candidate has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience of working at a strategic level and delivering complex change management projects. You will be able to interact at a senior level and have a high degree of personal integrity and be able to maintain confidentiality. 

 

This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career towards Executive board level with a role that offers real ownership, whilst remaining in a collaborative multi-disciplinary Head Office environment.

FINANCE & ADMIN ASSISTANT

The Beyond Schools Trust is a multi-academy trust based in Medway, which presently consists of three secondary schools and one primary and one junior school and is currently recruiting for a permanent Finance Assistant to support the growing demands of the central Finance function. We are a growing, multi-academy trust within the educational sector with approximately 500 employees across the five sites.

 

We are looking for a proactive, analytical individual with three years’ experience working in a Finance role, preferably with experience in reconciliation and banking. They must be IT literate with a good level of MS Office skills (Excel and Word are essential). They should pay strong attention to detail and pride themselves on their organisational skills with the commitment to meet deadlines. A good candidate will also possess strong communication skills along with a good level of customer service. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career with a role that offers real ownership whilst remaining in a collaborative environment.

SCALE Beyond Schools :  Trust Grade 4-11 £18,933-£21,748 per annum, pro rata. 
This equates to £15,250 to £17,517 per annum.

CONTRACT TYPE 37 hours per week, Term time only plus 5 days

LOCATION The Robert Napier School      

We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic administration assistant, to work in our busy reception/front office.  This is a dynamic environment, where no two days are the same.  The successful candidate will need to be able to multi-task and be willing to ‘turn their hand’ to whatever needs doing at the time. 

 

At times the reception/front office can be very busy, with staff, students, external professionals and parents all passing through.  The successful candidate will need to be able to relate well to people, have a positive personality and good sense of humour.

SCALE Trust Grade 2 £5942 pro rata to £18198 per annum for a full- time appointment - £9.43 per hour

CONTRACT TYPE 3 hours per day – 2.30 to 5.30 p.m. plus additional hours during the school holiday period for a deep clean. To be discussed at interview 

LOCATION Fort Pitt Grammar School       

• The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated but also willing and able to work effectively as part of a team

• You will be responsible for providing a high standard of cleaning in your designated area

• have a good standard of physical fitness due to the use of heavy floor machinery

• have a good standard of reliability

• The ability to be flexible would be an advantage for working over the whole school site

• All staff are required to adhere to the health and safety at work act and COSHH regulations

The successful candidate will be subject to suitable DBS checks and satisfactory references
