Each academy trust enters into a Master Funding Agreement with the Department for Education and supplementary agreements for each school it operates. These agreements specify how the academy trust and schools within the academy trust should be run. Funding agreements often vary between schools and include specific details linked to their funding.

Below are the key documents which specify when the company was established and regulate how the company is managed. They are legally binding and help ensure any decisions are compliant and that a company is being run in the correct way. The Articles of Association provide written rules about running the of Beyond Schools Trust agreed by the shareholders ( Members), directors (Trustees) and the Department for Education.
